Lockwood Technology to integrate TaskServer with Asset Tracker

Hudson, NH, December 3, 2001Lockwood Technology, an industry leader in asset management software, is integrating TaskServer with their Asset Tracker software.

“There are two main business reasons why TaskServer is important to us,” said Brad Vinecombe, President of Lockwood Technology. “First, our clients are asking us to associate business process automation with the tracking of their assets. Second, our Fortune 500 customers want Asset Tracker to work seamlessly with their purchasing, billing, HR and other systems. TaskServer’s XML architecture and powerful Business Process Automation and Enterprise Application integration capabilities make these tasks easier for us.”

“There is an important technical reason why we chose TaskServer,” said Cheryl Flecca, Lockwood’s Vice President of Engineering. “Most of our customers require a certain amount of customization. TaskServer allows us to incorporate custom extensions to Asset Tracker without having to change its internal code. This means increased flexibility and reduced development costs.”

According to Roel Vlemmings, Chief Technical Architect of TaskServer, “One of the original visions of TaskServer is that it will be a building block of applications. Lockwood’s decision validates this.” Developers no longer have to write their own code to include BPA and EAI functionality into their applications.”

“We are very excited about this relationship,” said David Ryan, President of TaskServer.com. “Our ASP architecture has positioned us strongly with small and medium size companies. Lockwood’s strength with Fortune 500 companies gives us access to large companies as well.”
